Intense nose of black cherry and blackberry with a hint of spice and black tea. Medium/full bodied, elegant with smooth dusty tannins and flavors of dark fruit and dark chocolate. It finishes a bit hot. Light bodied with a subtle palate of dried cherry, minerals and earth. This is a nicely matured Montagne-Saint-Emilion, but I wish it had more fruit left. Not a lot of red fruit, but quite aromatic. Medium bodied with round tannins and low acidity. Red cherry and spice flavors with a touch of oak. Beautiful earthy nose with notes of crushed blackberry and a hints of oak. On the palate the dark fruit is upfront and it is quite intense. There is a green herbal element that adds freshness to it.
