We're talking of white, entry-level sparkling (frisante) wine here falling in the very humble and honest wine category, costing a bit above the 1€ per 75 cl.
In the glass shows up a very faint, pale and open citric yellow. Small gas bubbles well distributed around the surface can be seen.
On the nose very floral and critic and also emanating very ripe white fruit suggesting sugary peaches and melon. On the mouth is balanced showing up beforehand and very competently a well round and sugary fruit indicated on the nose and finishing up with some pretty good and on the spot acidity, no more, no less.
Goes up 1/2 a tongue, leaving a somewhat prickly sensation on it.
Very enjoyable and a good surprise given the price range and the very humble 'package' that makes it somewhat undercover and an 'underdog' wine on a supermarket shelf.
Good by itself as an aperitif or to accompany some low fat grilled fish.
