Uma casta que normalmente surge em lote, muito utilizada nos Portos brancos e que não é muito bem vista quando surge a solo. Uma máxima que este vinho deita por terra. O nariz não tem uma grande exuberância, as notas minerais dominam, secundadas por algum vegetal e citrinos. Na boca sente-se uma acidez viva, boa estrutura, pouco expressivo também mas muito fresco. Um género que não agradará a toda a gente, mas que a mim me conquistou. E é capaz de ganhar com o tempo.
