I've not had a mead wine in years. This is why - several people thought it good, I thought it to be astringent. The wine itself is pretty clear. Abundant honey on the nose with a clear citrus side. On the tongue is a well defined honey note, citrussy acidity - but the end is wierd. There is this tight beeswax beam that is linear and is a flaw in my mind. Maybe I just don't understand the style.

bjwdad I've tried several (many years past) and didn't like any of them. They were quite inexpensive, however. Duh.
